Live Large in the Saddle...
Because of Aruba's fine weather, most visitors love to be outdoors. A terrific way to get around this compact island is to rent a motorcycle or scooter! Yes, the tourists on this island love to rent motor bikes! You really get a feel for the unique culture and distinct features of Aruba and enjoy being an "easy rider" at the same time. There are only a few places that rent these modes of open air freedom transportation. A regular driver's licence is all you need to rent a scooter. A motorcycle license is required to rent a motorcycle. Helmets are supplied.
Another option is to go on a guided trike ride (private rentals not available). The 3-seater trikes look like a motorcycle from the front and a sports car from the back. They come in both automatic and stick shift. Personal Note: at first glance, we were not sold on the Trikes... but OMG - they were so much fun... up to 3 people per vehicle and they were an absolute blast!
